Default version question

Are there any installation problems on Red Hat 4.1.1-52?

No, not if you have all the prerequisites installed and meet the set-up requirements.

If you're using the Open Source version then my advice would be to go for CentOS5, a binary compatible rebuild of RHEL5. If it's Network Edition then any of the supported distributions would be OK but my advice for that would be RHEL5.

Thank you sir!

How would i go about installing that on a managed server?

I want to intergrate the zimbra web client to my existing server.

If you had said that in the first place I could have told you the answer is, you can't. The web client is part of the complete Collaboration Suite and is tightly coupled to the rest of the packages, you can't just install the web client - it's all or nothing.

Welcome to the forums,
Mende, what we're seeing is that there could be two meanings to your post; I'll ask about the 2nd possible meaning:

Do you have a dedicated server (Red Hat 4.1.1-52) that you would like to run a mailserver on as well? (or switch to zimbra instead of another solution?)
-It's easiest if you have a server or virtual instance dedicated to zimbra itself.
-You're going to have to list all your current config; software & port usage.
-Also, as a I know most 'virtual private' boxes don't have much ram (differ from truly dedicated machines)...please describe your hardware/hosting provider as well (a link to their site & the 'package' you have might help us in that respect).

Bill is referring to the fact that you really can't separate the web-client from the entire zimbra package:
