Thanks for the reply. For a variety of reasons, I am going to stay with FC4 for the move.

Thanks,
Rob

I'm trying to follow these steps to move my server from RHEL 32bit to RHEL 64 but it doesn't seem to be working.....I get to the part when you do the dummy install via "install -s" once the dummy install is done I try to start ldap as zimbra to import ldap DB but it can't because the dummy install is not creating slapd.conf and some other ldap data?? Any ideas??

When moving architectures, you must export the ldap data into an ldiff file. There's a comment about that on the blog. It must be exported on the 32 bit system, then imported into the 64 bit system.

There's a PowerTip on that as well.

I did export it on the 32bit system.... Then I shutdown 32bit server....start 64bit server and do "install -s" I let that finish then I try to import ldap into the dummy install but it doesn't allow??

Default Migrating from OSX 4.5.10 to Debian 5.0.RC2

Hi guys,

Any update on that last post? I'm having a hell of a time trying to import the exported LDIF on a dummy install of RC2.
