Default MySQL not found error in Sugar Installation.

Hi guyz..

I installed Zimbra 5 RC1 in my FC5linux and it is working well.

Now I want to setup SugarCRM in the same machine. So i want to use the MySQL database which was created by Zimbra installtion.

When i was installing SugarCRM, it doesnot detect the Zimbra's MySQL DB.

So how to make Zimbra's MySQL DB visible to SugarCRM.

No, you really don't want to do this. You should not use the Zimbra MySQL for anything other than Zimbra, for one thing you may lose any other data in there when you upgrade Zimbra and you may also suffer performance problems. It is recommended that you only use Zimbra on your server, other applications should go on another machine. If you must use it in this way then install an instance of MySQL for use with SugarCRM.

Hi
Thanks for your kind reply..

Sorry, I cant understand the bolded line in yor quote. i dont worry about the performance problems, i need to create a SugarCRM DB in the Zimbra's MySQL..
Can i do it..? If so tell me how to do it..?
Else shall i use Another MySQL(may be installed through 'yum install') for Zimbra instead of Zimbra's Own MySQL.....?

Please reply me with a good solution....

The line in my reply that you've made bold was in relation to using another application on your Zimbra server, install another instance of MySQL - do not use the zimbra MySQL for anything else.
