Default [SOLVED] Host Zimbra on port 81 instead of 80?

Guys,

I love this product. It installed easily and I had no probelms. My question is, Can the Zimbra Web Client (website) be hosted on a diferrent port other than 80. Becuase of other settings in my network I can't use port 80. I can have my firewall redirect traffic to from port 80 to anything else automaticly, therefore the user doesn't have to type "email.mydomain.com:81 at all. Could anyone share how I can change this port if posible.

Thank you,

RTC

Welcome to the forums,
Code:
su zimbra
zmprov ms server.domain.com zimbraMailPort 81
zmcontrol stop
zmcontrol start
If you're using thick-clients, afterwards you may need to set:
Code:
 zmprov ms server.domain.com zimbraMtaAuthHost server.domain.com
BTW are you aware of the modes? CLI zmtlsctl to set Web Server Mode - Zimbra :: Wiki
If you run zmtlsctl then you will definately need to fix that zimbraMtaAuthHost (SMTP Auth Problems - Zimbra :: Wiki)
Also, to change the HTTPS port it's zimbraMailSSLPort

MMORSE,

Thank you greatly for your help. This was exactly what I was looking for. Worked great! And thank you for the extra information on the "xmprov" commands.
