Upgrade to 4.5.9 still breaks spam databases

BTW someone had Bug 11751 - custom RBL configurations lost after upgrade- zimbraMtaRestriction set to default but it's marked worksforme because it was found to be their error.

In that instance I'll wager the real culprit was probably Bug 8146 - RBL list cleared after "Global Settings" "Anti-Virus" change (which actually got resolved 8 days ago -though not verified by QA yet)
Might that have been the cause of your missing RBL's?

Mike, that may well be it. I just went in to my GUI and changed my Spam tag percent from 29 to 28 and back again, and then went to the CLI and my RBL settings were gone.

So, since I imagine that the install process must set those global settings to whatever was backed up at the beginning of the install, it would invoke that same procedure and wipe out the RBLs as well.

I'll go to "my" bug and mark it as a duplicate--though I never would have found it! Thanks.

Maybe we won't just close that bug as a duplicate yet. Will observe further to see if the issue recurs in 4.5.10 when it's released.
