Smile Installing Zimbra 4.5.8 onto openSUSE 10.3 successfully

I have recently installed Zimbra 4.5.8 onto openSUSE 10.3 and have changed the guide contained in this thead

I have only done minimal testing and installed openSUSE 10.3 without the graphical desktop (text only install option).

Cheers

Great guide!

Just curious -- Should this guide also work for 5.0 RC1?

I am just about to install Zimbra 5.0 RC1 onto openSUSE 10.3, will keep you posted

My experience is that there is very little structural difference between 10.2 and 10.3,
and since there is a zimbra package for 10.2 things should be smoother, but that said,
Zimbra 5 is still not at release stage, so other wierd things may happen

Cheers
