| | | Fixed but have another problem now Hi Randall
It was a clean install
OS Ubuntu 6.06 TLS running as a domU on xen 3.0
The other problem I have is that zimbra seems to have picked up localhost.localdomain instead of localhost.

And what do you have with dig MX yourdomain.com?
And host mail.yourdomain.com? |

| | | Virtual Domains Hi Randall,
I currently run courier mta and use virtual domains. Can I do the same with zimbra. i.e. All pop clients and smtp use a standard setup mail.foo.com for example.
The plan is to switch the domains across one by one with out having to change there current setup.
Thanks Mark |

| | do you mean exactly like POP3:mail.foo.com. SMTP:mail.foo.com?
If this is what you meant to be in the configuration of your users e-mail client, yes it is possible.
Just make sure that if you are NATed, your split DNS is working well.
Hope this helps. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | Why Join? Registering let's you ask questions, makes it easier to search, displays any files attached to posts, and notifies you about replies. |
