O.K, I've just re-installed Zimbra and the install went well except for this message I spotted towards the end. the msg is:

Setting up zimbra crontab...sh: crontab: command not found

Also, I am looking for this "file" command and came up with this when I run:
find / -name file as root. The output is:

root@mx1:/usr/src/zcs# find / -name file
/usr/lib/apt/methods/file
/opt/zimbra/zimbramon/lib/URI/file

I posted the above before as the previous post suggested this "file" command is missing. I am running UBUNTU6, where do I get this file? I am not sure which package I need for this?

Note: I captured the entire install of Zimbra to a file in case anyone request to see it.

I glad to report that I am now able to send & receive emails. The fix was not having the "file command" and cron package installed on the system. Those 2 packages are required in order for emails to be processed properly.

I'd recommend for Zimbra to perhaps check for those important dependencies during install. It is strange that my ubuntu install did not have those packages.

Thanks to all for there assistance!

-Joe

just wrapping up this thread:

He was running a OpenVZ package - suggestion in per the other thread http://www.zimbra.com/forums/install...html#post62510 is that he file a bug with their community if it really was not included (and not just something that got de-selected on install).

-However you can always also file in zimbra's bugzilla if you desire, so that someone else down the line doesn't get this problem.
