[SOLVED] Upgrade from 4.5 to 5.0

I've done some searching in the forums and wiki for an upgrade procedure. While there are a great deal of hits on 'upgrade' or 'upgrade to 5' I didn't see anything that jumped out as established documentation for the task.

Is it simply a matter of backing up the existing installation per the wiki documentation and running the install script for 5.0 RC1 choosing an upgrade option?

Any known pitfalls I should look out for?

If it's a matter of my searching skills lacking feel free to redirect me, I appreciate any direction.
