[SOLVED] Package deselection problem

I'm trying to install "zcs-NETWORK-4.5.7_GA_1319.UBUNTU6.tgz" on Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (with a German locale).
For multi-server install I just selected zimbra-ldap (first server) and deselected the other packages. Now zimbra-core and zimbra-ldap are installed by the installation script. Fine.
But in the configuration menu not only the selected packages appear but also the previously deselected ones! This should not be the case according to the screenshots in the installation guides. This causes problems when the installation script tries to configure non-existent packages.

(One is nevertheless able to install the ldap-server but other servers cannot be installed without errors because the installation script tries to configure services that are not present.
A single-server install finishes without errors although deselected packages (if applicable, e.g. zimbra-snmp) appear in the configuration menu.)

Any idea why the deselected packages appear in the main menu?
How can the issue be solved?

I've found the reason for the problem: The setup script is language specific. Never try to run it on a system with a locale other than English!
