Installation on Mac OSX

hi,

I am new and I tried to install the open source edition on my mac mini (mac osx).

I followed the instructions but after starting ./zmsetup.pl I got the following error message:

ERROR: service.FAILURE (system failure: getDirectContext) (cause: javax.naming.CommunicationException localhost:389)
Setting defaults...Done

Stopping zimbra services
Stop failed - exiting
UPGRADE FAILED - exiting

Do someone know what's wrong? What I have to do?

hi,

no I did not update the hosts file. I found some further threads and I came to the conculsion, that an installation on a mac needs a lot of time. But I don't have this time.
