Building from zcs-3.0.0_M2_740-src.tgz

I have to say that the installation instructions for this version are completely useless

I am building on gentoo, so running make, I get.

make: *** No rule to make target `/root/zcs/ZimbraBuild/defs/UNKNOWN.def'. Stop.

aside from this, I do not understand how it is going to build the other components if they are not included in the source?

Any help appreciated

You'll probably have better luck with the cvs_build_howto.txt that you can get from the cvs tree.

As for the 3rdpary components - you have to download those separately.

A link to the 3rd party source? You can find it at the various homes of the 3rdparty stuff, postfix, openldap, etc .

Most, if not all, are referenced in the howto.
