[SOLVED] Does HSM preserve indexing?

When mail gets moved to the secondary store, the users are still able to open messages as usual. But are the messages still indexed? Is the search fast as it is when the messages are in the primary store?

Yes, HSM does not affect indexing. The index entries for HSM-moved items remain in the same index as before the move.
