Default [SOLVED] 550 authentication required (in reply to RCPT TO command)

I get this message when sending mail to some servers.
Some other servers let mail through.
Others just drop the connection.

Any ideas?

My server differs from the global settings:

MTA is: 127.0.0.0/8 10.180.0.0/16
and Enable DNS Check is off.

I think he has general send/receive of mail? (I keep mentioning the dns checks-but him and john were working on it last night, and might have specifically set dns checks off?)
