Default Can't move mail to subfolders (filters don't work)

Hello,

I have set up successfully the zimbra server. All services are up, local mail and sending to external addresses are ok but user's configured pop account inside the web client have not mail delivered to the mailbox.

When I add a pop account the test runs ok, but no mail is delivered. No errors are shown in the queue or /var/log/syslog.

Here is my server configuration.

General setup
No lmtp hosts are configured

All services exept imap/pop proxy are enabled.

MTA
Enable authentication Yes
TLS authentication only Yes
Web mail MTA Hostname: enisol02.enisol.internal
Web mail MTA Port: 25
Web mail MTA timeout (s): 60
Relay MTA for external delivery: mail.191.biz
MTA Trusted Networks: none
Enable DNS lookups: yes

Imap
Enable IMAP service yes
IMAP port number: 143
Number of threads: 200
Enable SSL for IMAP service yes
IMAP SSL port number: 993
Enable clear text login no

Pop is disabled

Protocol checks:
Hostname in greeting violates RFC (reject_invalid_hostname) - yes
Client must greet with a fully qualified hostname - no
Sender address must be fully qualified (reject_non_fqdn_sender) -yes
DNS checks:
Client's IP address (reject_unknown_client) - no
Hostname in greeting (reject_unknown_hostname) - no
Sender's domain (reject_unknown_sender_domain) - no

Spam and antivirus are enabled with default values

The domain is enisol.internal and the mx record is configured correctly.

I attach /var/log/syslog.

Distributions is ubuntu 6.06 as a Xen guest.

Many thanks.

Default Understood why it doesn't work but problem not solved

Mail is only delivered in the root inbox folder. Zimbra cannot move messages to subfolders. Also filters do not work.

Anyone know where to look (which log)?

Bye

If you are talking about using the feature to retrieve pop mail from an external account the, yes, it will only deliver to you Inbox and it does not go through the filters. That will be fixed in a later release and you should search bugzilla for any problems you encounter.

Default Polling external accounts

Is there a way to automatically (periodically) check external email accounts?

That depends on which version of Zimbra you're using. The answer is yes for some of the later 4.5.x versions and version 5.

@Bill: Can you tell me which bug # the filter for external pop mail is?
