Default Problem installing on Scientific Linux 5

I am having problems while trying to install with Scientific Linux 5. I was told that Scientific Linux 5 was comparable to RHEL 5 so I downloaded the package for RHEL 5.

It works fine up until it tries to install zimbra-spell - then it fails.

Any idea's?

THANKS,

Josh

Hi josh-
Scientific Linux isn't an officially supported Operating System, however, if you wish to trouble shoot the issue, we'd be glad to help.

Zimbra creates log files during the installation. Are you able to provide those?
They're typically in /tmp/install.log.xxxx

Thanks
john

Get a copy of CentOS5 from www.centos.org - The Community ENTerprise Operating System and install that, follow the 'How To' in these forums and you should be fine.
