It's true, but as you can see RHEL doesn't use much memory (162 MB), and the vm image of zimbra is linux based, for that. But forget it.

- Here you have the host file entry. Is something wrong?
[root@zimbra ~]# cat /etc/hosts
# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
myipaddress zimbra.mydomain.ch zimbra

- I put only a "A" record with the reverse entry for the tests.
I didn't configured any MX record yet. Is it important for the install?

- It's a 32 bits version.
- NE version.
- English install.

For info, if it can help, here you can see the install log:

[root@zimbra tmp]# cat install.log.7006
rpm: no packages given for install

FYI, I have found the cause of the install failure.

The install works if we run the package from /tmp/zimbra.

Before, I tried to run the package from /opt/zimbra, and I had the error message.

Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I've only just caught up with this.

Yes, that would cause a problem as that's where we install Zimbra. That's a rather odd error message that it gives but at least you found the problem.

File a bug on that, would ya?
I just asked one of our developers, and that should not have happened.
