Default not getting mail, no relay error, issues please

Hi, our host crashed my mailserver and I was forced to rebuild. Mail goes out but does not come in.
I set up dataforcecrm.com as the host in ZCS
/etc/hosts reads:
127.0.0.1 localhost
208.77.144.242 dataforcecrm.com mail

dig dataforcecrm.com shows
Question
dataforcecrm.com
Answer
dataforcecrm.com 208.67.252.44
Authority
dataforcecrm.com ns7.zoneedit.com
dataforcecrm.com ns7.zoneedit.com

hostname is dataforcecrm.com
hostname -f dataforcecrm.com

host 'hostname' says host hostname not found

please advise. thank you. ....

change your hosts file to
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
208.77.144.242 mail.dataforcecrm.com mail

dig mx dataforcecrm.com
and post your results

These yours?:
mail4.zoneedit.com
mail5.zoneedit.com
I get: Error There was a problem while talking with the mail server. 'Socket Timeout Exception: connect timed out

Also-it's not required-but to cut down on you being labled as spam:
mail.dataforcecrm.com. points to 208.77.144.242, which has no 242.144.77.208.in-addr.arpa PTR record

Last edited by mmorse; 08-09-2007 at 08:47 AM.. Reason: ptr reverse

I'm have the same problems. I'm also using zoneedit for my DNS. I'm able to send/receive from my exchange server behind the same firewall when the port 25 is pointed to it. I'm able to send from zimbra, just not receive. They get stuck in the mail queue saying that it times out when sending to the zimbra server.

You get them, but they're stuck in your queue? Could be an antivirus problem.
