Default zmpurgemessages not working

I've noticed my Junk email isn't empting like it should. When I run zmpurgemessages manually, I get the following output:

/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmpurgemessages
SOAP request failed: code=500, error=Connect failed: connect: Connection refused; Connection refused

Any ideas? Everything else seems to be working fine.

Not sure what's going on there. If your server's up and running, it sounds like the script is trying to connect to the wrong port. Have you changed ports or put in some sort of firewall/ filtering recently?

Nope, no firewall on the server itself. What port is it trying to connect to?

Dan- Correct me if I'm wrong:

But if it's calling SOAP requests, that should be port 80
Are you not running the http(s) port of 80 or 443?

No, I'm running another web server on this machine, so zimbra runs on port 7080 for port 80 and 7443 for port 443. The question now is how do I tell zmpurgemessages to connect on one of those ports....

Thanks!

It should be getting the port info from zmlocalconfig.

Search the bugzilla for issues like yours. If you find none, please file a bug and cc me. I will attempt to verify your issue.

Also, make sure you're running the latest version of ZCS before you file a bug.

I looked through the zmlocalconfig and didn't see an reference to the ports I changed http and https to listen on. If you say that zmpurgemessages gets its information from that file, then I'm guessing I've found a real bug? I searched through bugzilla and didn't find anything, so should I add this one?
