Default Help Recovering Data

Last night I tried to upgrade my 4.5.5 installation to 5.0 beta 2 on FC5. Let's just say it didn't go well and I didn't know it right away. LDAP got all screwed up and I ended up installing a fresh install and manually re-creating my domains and user accounts. Now I have a backup of the old directory with the data, but I can't even back up the LDAP. Is there any way to restore the data? I could move everything to a different server and synch the imap with the now fixed server running 4.5.6.

Help would get me out of the doghouse with my wife.

TIA.

imapsync may be your best option at this point

But I need to get it up and running as an imap server still don't I? Since the problem seems to be LDAP is there a way to bring it up as only an IMAP server?

During the installation, the system should have created a backup of your ldap named openldap.prev.xxxx

You may wish to re import it using our blog post.
