Default how does logger work?

Hello,

I'm not seeing the server status in the admin gui, it says that logger must be installed which it is. It's running also.

So my question is, how does zimbra logger work? I switched zimbra to another server and we also switched firewalls, maybe i need to add a rule to it...

Thanks,

as a starting point: Check the Logger Wiki article and take notes about your results:

Seems like i don't have the rrdtool installed.

Also the crontab for the user zimbra is empty.

How can i fix this?

Thanks!

i had two rrdtool folders rrdtool and rrdtool-1.0.49. The second had the bin i needed but didn't have the work folder so i copied the work folder and made rrdtool a link to rrdtool-1.0.49.

I ran the zmgengraphs again and now my graphics are showing fine.

Server status still doesn't work.

BTW, how do i populate my crontab with zimbra processes?

Thanks,

It's working now.

I installed crontab and then executed the upgrade script again. Yes, i upgraded to the same installed version and everything is working fine now.

I also filled a bug (didn't find an old one) for the installer. It should warn users that this will happen if they try to install zimbra without cron.

Thanks a lot!
