Question LDAP problems during installation

Hi all,
I'm trying to install Zimbra on my Ubuntu 6.06 server.
I've downloaded zcs-4.5.6_GA_1044.UBUNTU6.tgz and extract it into /usr/src.
During installation I have no any problem.
During services initialization i receive the follow error:

Initializing ldap...Failed to start slapd. Attempting debug start to determine error.
daemon: listen(ldap://cedi01:389, 5) failed errno=98 (Address already in use)

FAILED (1)

ERROR

Configuration failed

I red logfile but it don't contain nothing more than console output.

Port conflicts check it don't notice any conflict.
Anyway before start installation I've stopped slapd service.

Know anyone what's my problem and help me to fix it.
Thank's everyone.

Something is already occupying port 389, probably another LDAP server.

Thumbs up "Solved" by installing 4.5.5

Hi,
first of all thanks for your reply and would you forgive my english (I'm from Italy).
After various attempt to install zimbra 4.5.6 I've tried to install 4.5.5 in the same scenario (without no services running on port 389) and now it's working..
At the moment I'm interesting in testing zimbra server then I will try to update it at 4.5.6 in the future - maybe when I will switch to production environment. 4.5.5 is more stable than 4.5.6??? Has 4.5.6 substantial emprovements than 4.5.5?

Thanks again
massimo

It's quite possible, if you tried to install more than once, there was a stray copy of our LDAP running. You should really upgrade to 4.5.6, it does have bug fixes etc. but if this is just a test system then 4.5.5 will be fine.
