Default Zimbra Beta 5

Hi,

Any chance someone can give me a link to the new Beta 5 download.

Maybe it's me, but for some reason I can't find a link to it ... ??

Gareth.

It's on the sourceforge downloads page/Developers build, just expand the list.

Only beta 1 is on the downloads page at SourceForge.net: Files under the heading of 'Developer builds'.

According to the product portal, beta 2 was released on June 25 - when will it be available on the downloads page please?

I've been waiting for beta 2 to be available before testing v5.

And is RC1 on schedule for the end of July?

thanks - Angus

Hi

Only b1 is available currently, we're all waiting patiently (!) for b2. Therefore rc1 wont make end of July etc.

Hey guys-
Beta2 hasn't been released yet.

We know a lot of people are eager to test, and it will be available soon

Once it's released, it will be announced here in the forums, and on the blog

Stay tuned

Default Zimbra 5 and supported OS

Hi guys,

I am waiting for Zimbra 5 as well and used the time to check the already available information.

I couldn't find Ubuntu on the supported OS list for the network edition. As it is supported for 4.5. and we are using 4.5 network edition on Ubuntu I am a bit worried.....

Can someone confirm if Ubuntu will be a supported OS for the network edition?

Kind Regards
Andre

I believe Ubuntu will be supported in Z5 for the Network Edition. I'm pretty sure that it will be still the Dapper Drake version.

As for the beta of Z5, I think they are just currently working with RH. It's all about R and D money slicing. (yeah maybe...)

But I'm pretty sure Ubuntu will be supported (keeping my fingers crossed), since my Zimbra also seats on Ubuntu,
