Default Zimbra install questions

I am looking to install the OSS version of Zimbra but reading the "single server install" tells me i can not install Zimbra where MySQL is already installed. I have a server that already has MySQL 5.0 installed and hosting DB's. Will installing Zimbra break that install of MySQL? If i install Zimbra, can i have Zimbra use the MySQL instance already installed and working?

Edit/
Important: You cannot have any other web server, database, LDAP, or MTA server running, when you install the Zimbra software. If you have installed any of the applications, before you install Zimbra software, disable these applications. During the ZCS install, Zimbra makes global system changes that may break applications that are on your server.

Zimbra uses a non-standard port and will not affect any other installation of MySQL.
