Problem installing Desktop on Ubuntu

greetings. This is my first post on in what I hope will be a long relationship with Zimbra. I have installed a Zimbra server on Ubuntu 6.06, and a Zimbra Desktop on Windows XP. Everything looks really great, and I think this will be my future mail platform.

I have tried to install Desktop on a laptop running Ubuntu 07.04 but I get an error that I cant sort out. (btw, I'm fairly new to linux)

This is my installation:

I have a blank Zimbra Setup window open, but no text or buttons. When closing this window the installastion is aborted.

Appreciate any help.

I solved this by just stopping window manager and using standard manager instead.
Now, its installed. You must also make the install file executable by "chmod 744" som that root can execute it. Now my problem is that the Desktop applikation terminates after about 15 secs without any message. Nothing in the logs either.

I could still need som help with Zimbra Desktop on linux in general, and Ubuntu in particular.
