Default Importing settings/information from Thunderbird

Sorry if this is an obvious/basic question, but I've searched and can't find a past thread or FAQ topic.

Is there a straightforward way of importing my settings, folders, stored e-mails etc. from Thunderbird? I'd rather not have to manually input all my e-mail account settings again and I have loads of archived e-mails in Thunderbird that I'd like to be able to search in Zimbra if I decide to use it as my e-mail client.

Many thanks in advance.

No, sorry, I'm still stuck using Thunderbird. I'd love to try Zimbra as I fnid Thunderbird awkward for text editing in particular, but I just have too much stuff to import to do it manually at the moment.

Thanks for bumping the thread, though, does anyone have any suggestions?

I had success in transferring contacts by the Thunderbird export function. For the rest of the files, I was able to transfer files using an IMAP account common to both by copying the files from Thunderbird accounts to the IMAP account using Thunderbird and then, when they appeared in ZD on the IMAP server, I moved them to new accounts I had created in ZD. It was not hard to do but sure took a lot of computer time to do all the downloads to the IMAP server and back again. I am afraid I had to install all the individual accounts manually although I only had three
