Default Memory Usage

I'm trying to find a nice, light email client to run on my very mobile laptop. After some research, Zimba appeared to have the key features I'm looking for. I installed it, and set up just one email account, no social networking or feeds or anything else. I'm running Windows XP pro. I'm seeing a ZDClient that takes up 70+MB RAM as well as ZDesktop, which takes up another 130+MB, Over 200MB total. Is this normal? Outlook, Thunderbird and others use significantly less. Did I do something wrong? I downloaded 7.0.1 from your website, so I don't think this is the Beta version. Help?
