ZD 2 and 7beta won't start on Win 7 -64 bit

I installed ZD 2 and it didn't started I read a thread where someone suggested to install ZD 7Beta to see if something changes but it didn't.

I checked de ...data\log and no file appears there. I tried launching from cmd terminal like this:

"C:\Windows\SysWOW64\cscript.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\Zimbra\Zimbra Desktop\win32\zdrun.vbs"

and it returns something like (I use spanish so I'll try to figure out what would it say in english):

Entry Error: Ther is no command sequence engine for file extension ".vbs"

I tried this way to launch it also unsuccesfully:

C:\Users\Eduardo Llaguno>"C:\Program Files (x86)\Zimbra\Zimbra Desktop\win32\zdesktop.exe" "C:\Users\<myuser>\AppData\Local\Zimbra\Zimbra Desktop\conf\zdesktop.conf"

And it creates a dialog which says:
Unable to load config file: "C:\Users\<myuser>\AppData\Local\Zimbra\Zimbra Desktop\conf\zdesktop.conf"

What is logical since this directory and file doesn't exist.

Hope this is solved some how.

Did you try to run the installer as Administrator?

I have this problem on Windows XP SP3.
I'm administrator. I have installed the program. Programs it is not started, when i click on shortcut.
When I start C:\Program Files\Zimbra\Zimbra Desktop\win32\zdrun.vbs i see message: "Program could not start. Try to reinstall the program."
Then there are link on line in a file zdrun.vbs which has caused an error. It is line 72.

File zdrun.vbs:

71 sCmd = Chr(34) & sAppRoot & "\win32\prism\zdclient.exe" & Chr(34)
72 oShell.Run sCmd, 1, false

Problem at file \win32\prism\zdclient.exe start.
Please, help to solve a problem.

Do you have an updated java in your machine?
