Default ZD7 issue

Just installed ZD7 beta on a Win XP SP3 laptop tonight. Installed fine, ran fine, sent some mail. Closed the program, closed laptop, ate dinner. Opened the laptop, tried to open the program, and all I get is a window titled Prism-Mozilla Labs with a bunch of empty text boxes and checkboxes.

Tried fixing, and then uninstalling and re-installing, same result.

Any ideas?

please check the permission of this registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Zimbra\Zimbra Desktop

make sure it's writable for current user.

you may have to rename your user data directory (Zimbra Desktop 7 Beta 1 FAQ - Zimbra :: Wiki), then relaunch ZD after the permission change on registry key, and setup your account again.

I just ran into this problem as well. The above steps worked like a charm.

Thanks.

Didn't work for me. I ended up uninstalling completely and then re-installing, but the program will still not open.

Did you also rename your data directory?

And now, it is working. Not sure what was going on, but thanks for the help.

Very slick, by the way.
