Default Install over Ubuntu 10.4

Hi,
I work with Ubuntu 10.4 bcouse is LTS version.
After download and uncompress the file zdesktop_2_0_1_b10659_linux_i686.tgz, enter to the directory and write
sudo ./install.pl
When question "Would you like to continue to install data files for user: root?", I response "No".
I open a terminal and write
/opt/zimbra/zdesktop/linux/user-install.pl
VEry good, install the profiles and the icon in my desktop. Press Enter to open Zimbra Destop and configure the email count.
When I try to create a new calendar, send me the message "Subfolders under USER_ROOT are not allowed.", buy I am not root.
Can help me?

The error message isn't refering to the user named 'root'. Generally speaking it sounds like you have installed correctly.

The error message is because the server thinks you are trying to create a calendar at an invalid level of our folder hierarchy; in our reserved folder named 'USER_ROOT'.

What type of email account are you using (ZCS, IMAP, POP, etc?), and what steps are you using to create new calendar?

Thank's.
The email count is POP. My email server is Postfix. Is it a problem?

Not a problem per-say; but you cannot create a calendar associated with this account type. You can however create a local calendar by going to the calendar tab and selecting new from that screen.
