Unhappy Compatibility with Windows 7 PRO

I have installed the ZDesktop but could not finish creating accounts. It sits there like there is an error and the only solution is to close the application. Are there known issues with windows 7?? I realy like the application and want to use it asap. Thanks for any help

Unhappy Compatibility with Windows 7 PRO

Still having problems installing in Win 7 PRO. I have a Dell XPS M1330 - Core 2 Duo - 3 GB RAM - 320 GB HDD - Avast 5 antivirus -- I have downloaded twice the installation file and after install will start and sit on the first screen "loading""
Can anybody give details on the installation to see if I am doing anything wrong. I have read the users guide and the FAQ
Thanks for the help and patience

It's possible that Avast might be causing the problem, try disabling it and then remove the current install of ZD and reinstall it and see what happens.

I am still having compatibility problems with Win 7-- What I did, besides following some advice given to me, is installed the older version 1.04 and it worked Ok. Created account and sync_ed with my gmail box with no problema- Now this older version gave some selections to make at the beginning, like language, that in my case is spanish. The rare thing I have noticed is that if I want to update from within 1.04 it says there are no updates available, and when tried to install version 2, got the same problem besides it installed in a different folder. Maybe some bug related problem that will be fixed in future releases. Thanks anyway
