Default [SOLVED] Please help a n00b

Hello all ,

I have looked all over the net and finally registered so that i could ask this question. I am running Linux Mint 9 KDE and have downloaded the Zimbra desktop tar.tgz file.

how do i install it????? i have been working n this since 12 this afternoon. any help will be greatly appreciated.

When you post pn a forum you should put something in the title that reflects the actual problem, your title is likely to get ignored as people won't be bothered to read your post - please change the title of this thread.

All you need to do to install it is read the product documentation on the Zimbra Desktop page: Zimbra - Products: Zimbra Desktop Downloads

You do realise that the older (I assume you mean ZD 1.x) version will not be updated any more and you're missing out on the new features in Zimbra Desktop 2, don't you? Installing ZD 2 is exactly the same as installing the 'older' versions.
