Default How to import email folders from Evolution client?

My office has been using Ubuntu 9.04 with Evolution email client. I'm trying Zimbra Desktop to see if it will be a good substitute for Evolution. It looks like it could be, but I'm stuck on how to import email folders from an Evolution Client into Zimbra Desktop folders.

I've tried backing up Evolution (that goes to a tar.gz file). In Zimbra Desktop Preferences.Import/Export it says "You can import an account export file in a "Tar-GZipped" (.tgz) format." which I've tried, but I only get some empty folders called .evolution, mail, imap and pop, with no sign of the folders I had backed-up from Evolution.

Am I missing something, like another way to import from Evolution?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Can this be moved to the Desktop General forum?
Maybe it will get a better response there?
