Default Gmail and calendar does not auto refresh

New Zimbra user here and so far I'm loving it. I have my gmail account setup within Zimbra Desktop. When I make a change from web based google Calendar, I have to click refresh on Zimbra Desktop in order for the change to be reflected. There isn't an auto refresh setting somewhere?

Currently you can control the frequency of the auto refresh in the account setup screen. The default is to check every 15 minutes, but you can set it as low as 1 minute.

It's not auto refreshing. I have to manually refresh the calendar & contacts. Email works perfectly. I have it set to 1 minute.

During setup, "set service port to" defaults to port 7633. Is that correct? Could that be the issue?

Actually, looking at it further I believe you are correct. We have opened bug 50124 (https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=50124) to track this.

OK well that's good and bad I guess, lol. Any idea on a resolution timeframe? Thanks!

For now, the auto-refresh for calendar and contacts is restricted to once every 15 minutes unless you manually send/receive. This is intentionally less frequent than email due to differences in the way CalDav operates as opposed to IMAP. So, if you wait a little while after making changes in the web client they will eventually appear in Zimbra Desktop.

The calendar does not auto refresh at all, no matter what setting. It's a known bug.
