I installed today 2.0 final on 10.04 amd64, and works as always: most of the times it starts, but in some cases I click the icon, the "loading" windows comes up, but stays there forever.... until I close and retry, maybe even a couple of times!

I seem to remember someone posted about this recently, I asked them to file a bug report for the problem. If you can check for any filed report and file one if there isn't, that would help towards a resolution.
