Default [SOLVED] Installl error: whack.jar

Hello,

I am trying to install Zimbra Desktop 1_0_4 build1833 on a XP workstation, any time i run the installer i got the same error:

D:\Documents and Settings\Canna\Local Settings\Application Data\Zimbra\zdesktop\jetty\webapps\service\WEB-INF\lib\whack.jar could not create this file.

I keep retrying and at the end installation fails. I did try the same on a fresh XP-SP3 install and the same error. I did try other versions and the only one that works is 1_0_build1537. I will really appreciate your help about this, I see the version 1_0 and its great but I want to run the latest version. This is the log file from the last install on the new XP (running on VMWare)

The most recent version is ZD 2 Beta2, have you tried that? Have a look in the ZD/General forum for details.

Glad it's working for you. Don't forget that it is beta and any issues/questions should be posted in these forums. You can keep an eye open for the next beta announcement in these forums and details of the fixes in the next release and target release dates are in the Product Portal. Enjoy.
