Where can i find and download desktop-beta-2? i really need to overcome the problem with administrative rights in windows and samba domains and rumor has it (i cant find confirmation) that beta 2 has this issue resolved.

You can't download it yet, the place to checjk for release details is the Product Portal.
Thank you phoenix. After i took a moment to calm down, i realised this is not the end of the world. i will wait for the beta and in the mean while just use one of the work arounds since i have only deployed zimbra for one of our smaller sites.
