ZD Problems connecting to MS exchange on campus

MS exchange setup and sync works fine at home with my XP machine, but cannot verify connection to the smtp server while on campus with my vista machine. My center is just beginning to look at Zimbra as an alternative to MS.

Any help with this will be appreciated.
