Default [SOLVED] Won't Accept Password

I am trying to install Zimbra Desktop.
It asks me for my password. Since I have not setup a password, I press OK, it requires a password, I have tried every password I use but no luck...
Any help?

I've spoken with dantawn about the issue. Just for clarification:

He's trying to install the Zimbra Desktop client on his mac - not set up an account. At the beginning of the installation process, he is prompted for his mac user account password. He doesn't have a password assigned to his user account on his mac. Leaving the password field blank doesn't appear to be working.

Hope that clears things up...

I'm wondering if the installer balks if the mac user account has a blank password. I'd try it on a test account on my mac but since I've got it installed already and RFE 27936 is still in progress, I don't think it would do me much good.

Installing on a mac needs admin rights, so the mac prompts you for the password. I dont think this is a Zimbra specific issue?

by not putting in a admin password.....sometimes you can by without it, sometimes a program requires an admin password.....its "program specific" but the solution lies with the mac

The mac account in question has admin rights, but no password. I'm not saying it's good practice, it's not. But, I've never seen an installer balk at a blank password before.

Default Installing

Just to let you know that you MUST have an administrator password in order to install the software.
Zimbra will NOT accept a blank, or non exisitant password.
