[SOLVED] Problems with Fedora 11?...

Hi...

Today I've updated from Fedora 10 x86_64 to Fedora 11 x86_64 in my office computer without any problem running Zimbra Desktop.

In other computer I've installed Fedora 11 x86_64 from zero (not upgrade); then I've downloaded zimbra desktop and I get the following error after ./zdesktop_1_0_build_1593_linux_i686.sh :

Unpacking JRE ...
Preparing JRE ...
./zdesktop_1_0_build_1593_linux_i686.sh: bin/unpack200: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory
Error unpacking jar files. Aborting.
You might need administrative priviledges for this operation.

I've tried as root and single user without success.

How I can to fix this problem?

do you have /lib/ld-linux.so.2 on the first machine, where zd runs fine?

Yes.. Is it an executable file?

Usage: ld.so [OPTION]... EXECUTABLE-FILE [ARGS-FOR-PROGRAM...]
You have invoked `ld.so', the helper program for shared library executables.
This program usually lives in the file `/lib/ld.so', and special directives
in executable files using ELF shared libraries tell the system's program
loader to load the helper program from this file. This helper program loads
the shared libraries needed by the program executable, prepares the program
to run, and runs it. You may invoke this helper program directly from the
command line to load and run an ELF executable file; this is like executing
that file itself, but always uses this helper program from the file you
specified, instead of the helper program file specified in the executable
file you run. This is mostly of use for maintainers to test new versions
of this helper program; chances are you did not intend to run this program.

--list list all dependencies and how they are resolved
--verify verify that given object really is a dynamically linked
object we can handle
--library-path PATH use given PATH instead of content of the environment

no, it's a shared library that's part of your linux operating system. if it's missing on your second machine, you need to look into os installation.

I've cheched this in my second machine and I found it... So... What can be the problem?

maybe a search path problem. you may compare the PATH environment of first user on the first machine, with the one of the second. basically i think it's os-related or user setting related, not zd specific.

Well... I've re-downloaded the .sh file and I've tried to install it again. Now I get the following error message:

OK...

I've solved the installation through tty2...

1. CTRL + F2
2. log as user NOT root.
3. sh zimbra_file_downloaded.sh
4. Following instruction of installation.
5. Once installation has been finished, go back to Xorg: CTRL+F1

So... I have tried to start the application through Zimbra's icon on desktop but I get a error message about it is not a trusted application. But through 'properties' (right click on icon) I've changed this to trusted application.

The problem I've now is that it's impossible start the application (double click, etc.) It doesn't function.

I don't know if somebody has the same problem but it's so difficult. I'm working in my office with Zimbra Suite collaboration in a RedHat server and it's really really difficult to install and then to syncronize info between different email clients.

I've tried to run from the terminal. However apparently something is wrong once I start the zdesktop:

# [root@localhost zdesktop]# ./zdesktop start

By the way I've tried to access from my browser:

I've tried through tty3 and ZD has been installed but isn't possible to run in my desktop...

I've installed many libraries of Xorg. So any idea?
