Zimbra Desktop 1.0 with Exchange

I downloaded Desktop 1.0 (Intel Mac) and logged into our Exchange server for starters. I'm able to access my inbox via IMAP just fine, it would appear. I know the FAQ says that calendar syncing with Exchange is not yet available, but I do see tons of calendar events appear in Zimbra Desktop. The problem is that I seem to see, and get populated on my calendar, every single public event there might be. There does not appear to be anyway to subscribe to calendars I'm interested. So my calendar gets overwhelmed with the clutter of all public events on the server. Surely there's a way to be more selective, right?
