Error when sending test message

I am trying to send from an account using pop.secureserver.net (port 110) incoming and smptout.secureserver.net (port 25), and get the following message when trying to send to my gmail account.
Subject: Delivery failed: 553 Sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts.

What else in before and after that line in the body of the email? Post the exact message from the body.

Upon my recommendation a friend downloaded Zimbra, but is having difficulty getting an account for hotmail set up which will both send and receive. Can you help on this issue also?
