Question new installation problems

I have tried to install the desktop version on my macbook pro a few times and keep on getting errors. I get one that says some zimlets are missing. The other problem is when I open the desktop version it says unauthorized access and will not open. I am looking for an application that will sync calendars, email, and contacts with my Blackberry via yahoo and also with ical. Will this work if properly set up. Sorry about the long post (newbie)

Question install problems

It looks like my computer is set up right as far as sharing. I did have it installed the very first time and it did work, however I couldn't get my calendars to sync. I removed from computer and re-installed and that is when the problems began. I did not understand how to do the change the local host part of the article you referred me to. Thanks for your help.
