Default Mozilla Labs Prism?

I just installed Zimbra Desktop, but when I click on the icon all that happens is that a window opens that says "Prism - Mozilla Labs". Is this what's supposed to happen? I'm guessing not.

Owen.

No, it's not supposed to happen. What platform are you on?

I'm running Firefox (latest update) on Windows Vista. I installed Zimbra once before (last week) and it managed to download and display my emails, but within two days it stopped updating and said it couldn't find the remote server, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it, and now it just says this Prism thing.

Please right-click on ZD's icon->Properties. Can you tell me what's value you have for "Target:" field?

Also, can you copy and paste here the content of this file?

<installation directory>\win32\prism\application.ini

The target for the Zimbra Desktop icon is: "C:\Program Files\zdesktop\win32\prism\zdclient.exe". And it says "Target location: Prism".

And here's the contents of Application.ini:

[App]
Vendor=Yahoo! Inc.
Name=Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop
Version=0.9.1
BuildID=2008080512
ID=prism@developer.mozilla.org

[Gecko]
MinVersion=1.8.1.0
MaxVersion=1.9.1.*

[XRE]
EnableExtensionManager=1

[Environment]
PRISM_WEBAPP=C:\Program Files\zdesktop\zdesktop.webapp
XRE_PROFILE_PATH=C:\Program Files\zdesktop\profile

What are the files you have under the above two directories? (from command prompt, you may run: dir > out.txt or capture screenshots of explorer; then attach out.txt or screenshots here)

Default Installation problem: "Prism - Mozilla Labs"

Hi,
I have the same problem.
I run Vista Family Home Edition Premium 64 and IE 7 in french.
I have this window "Prism - Mozilla Labs" which ask for an "Url", a "Name" an other things when I run ZDesktop.

ZD's icon->Properties I have for "Target" field:

"C:\Program Files\zdesktop\win32\prism\zdclient.exe".

In the "installation directory"\win32\prism\application.ini:

[App]
Vendor=Yahoo! Inc.
Name=Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop
Version=0.9.1
BuildID=2008080512
ID=prism@developer.mozilla.org

[Gecko]
MinVersion=1.8.1.0
MaxVersion=1.9.1.*

[XRE]
EnableExtensionManager=1

[Environment]
PRISM_WEBAPP=C:\Program Files\zdesktop\zdesktop.webapp
XRE_PROFILE_PATH=C:\Program Files\zdesktop\profile

Could you help me?

Thanks.

C:\Program Files\zdesktop\zdesktop.webapp
C:\Program Files\zdesktop\profile

Hi,
It has been the fourth times I try to post and I do not see it on the page even after I logged out and came back again.
Why don't I see it?
