Just hit the watchdog; he gets hungry sometimes - I cleaned up the dupes.

Jason's question is:

Thanks for answering.

I did not see any error.

Under C:\Program Files\zdesktop\zdesktop.webapp:
Files:
Override.ini
splash.gif
splash.html
webapp.in
webapp.js
and "Icons".

Under.../profile:
Files:
.autoreg
compatibility.ini
compreg.dat
extensions.cache
extensions.ini
extensions.rdf
permissions.sqlite
prefs.ps
user.js
xpc.mfl
xpti.dat
and "Extensions".

By default you should also get an email as well when Jason responds (only the latest reply, till you next visit the forum and notices are triggered again).

Yes, your list of files is there.

The Desktop team could provide more details, but it does vary slightly from what I have under mine (we've also changed the default install location with the edventual goal of better separating application vs user data). Bug 28263 - offline : mac application vs data location & installer privs

Originally drive:\zimbra\zdesktop
Then we started using the %USERPROFILE% environmental variable drive:\Users\username\AppData(hidden folder)\Local\Zimbra\zdesktop\
(or on XP drive:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Zimbra\zdesktop\log)

Did you pick Program Files as the target?

Under my zimbra.webapp:
localstore.jason
override.ini
splash.gif
splash.html
webapp.ini
webapp.js

& Profiles:
cert8.db
compatibility.ini
compreg.dat
cookies.sqllite
extentions.cache
extensions.ini
extensions.rdf
forumhistory.sqlite
key3.db
localstore.rdf
mimeTypes.rdf
parent.lock
permissions.sqllite
places.sqllite
places.sqlite-journal
pluginreg.dat
prefs.js
secmod.db
user.js
XPC.mfl
xpit.dat
XUL.mfl
extensions

There's an internal bug open on that actually: Bug 34773 - forums : quickreply issues

Assuming this is the first time you ever installed ZD (no existing user data), can you uninstall it completely and reinstalled under the default location (/Users/username/...)? See whether that helps.

Vista is in French so as I can see, here is what I see (zimbra_1.jpg) at the top of the window when the window is open and here is what I see (zimpra_2.jpg) (highlighted in blue) at the top of the window when I click in this area.

Hope it helps you.
