Default [SOLVED] Software update is stuck.

Could we please have a clear description of what this process is.

The links on the dialog boxes go to the Wiki which has no information on the update itself or the process.

Where is the downloaded update stored on my machine?

When you hide the download dialog box how do you get it back?

If you defer the installation of the update how do you start it without downloading it again?

Thanks!

Default Update for the linux Version of Desktop is Broken!

I tried twice, after the download is complete I get the dialogue box below.
Don't bother clicking on details it just goes to the Wiki.

I press the restart button, it shuts down but never restarts.

If I restart manually I receive a dialogue box about an important update,
Click on it and it starts downloading the update again.

I verified that I still have .92 build 1433 after all this.

Sounds like the installer failed to run during update. Is this on Linux? Can you try to download the installer from www.zimbra.com and upgrade it manually?

Yes, I'm running the Linux version.
If I download 1.0 and then install will the installer upgrade automatically?

Yes, it will upgrade and you won't lose any user data.

Before running the installer manually, can you go to /tmp and look for files with names like i4j_*.log? If you can find any, can you zip them and upload here? That may help us figure out why your updater failed. Thanks.

Brought it over from windows machine, installed, all went well.

Thanks!
