Default HELP! Installation/upgrade issue!

Hi,

I've been using Zimbra for about a week now. It so far had seemed great, and i liked the functionality of it.

However, this morning i got up (and having left my PC on all night) Zimbra said it had upgraded to the latest version and required a restart. At this point in time i can't recall whether it was to restart the program or restart the computer. Either way i did as instructed. i think it said restart the program.

After restarting, i clicked on zimbra to view my emails and the starter page loaded (where it goes through the 3 icon pictures).

However, after a couple of minutes doing that it then comes up with this error message:
Couldn't access Zimbra Desktop server. If issue persists after reinstall, please check logs for error and report to Zimbra Desktop - Zimbra - Forums

i'm not entirely sure what "logs" are, or how to check them! How do i proceed to fix my issue? Have i lost all my emails?

Any help greatly appreciated

Ric

I've had a check thru the folder with zimbra in! would the log be the notepad text document entitled "zdesktop" in my logs folder? (it's 17k long in my case). Should i copy and paste the data in it, to this thread, or should i send the document to someone?
