Default zimbra failed to inject zimlets ...

Hello everbody,

First of all, thank you very much.. According to screenshots, you are creating a great program. If you complete this project, then we say bye bye to outlook, thunderbird etc... This is really great investment for yahoo!

I have Lenovo thinkpad notebook and use Vista home pro Turkish.

I download the last version of Zimbra Desktop and installed the English version. When I installing, I get an error message:

zimbra failed to inject zimlets some features may be missing

after that, when I try to open Zimbra Desktop, I wait 2-3 minutes approximately and I get another error message like this:

Couldn't access Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop server. If issue persists after reinstall, please check logs for errors and report to Zimbra Desktop - Zimbra - Forums.

I made a research about this problem but I can't find anything. I think, Installation ZD Failed! HELP topic is only may be related.. According to the topic, I tried to solve the problem but I couldn't..

So, I need your helps!

Best regards..
Mehmet

Thanks for all the details! The information you provided is very complete. Could you please file a bug with this information? Thanks!

Also could you do two more things:

1. restart the desktop server and see what happens.

2. if restarting doesn't helf, shutdown the desktop server and zip up the entire derby folder to submit with the bug. I need to take a look at your database because it seems to be somehow corrupt.

Hi jjzhuang,

[sorry for delay, I opened the bug topic but when I was writing the forum, I slept because time was 3am on Turkey ]

Thanks for your helps but I didn't solve..

I restarted the Zimbra desktop. First, I saw the white opening screen (there are three red icons) during 30 minutes and more.. According to me, the program tried to complete opening but couldn't.

I read your answer which is in the bug topic, but unfortunately I can't think of a reason, too.

thanks..

So when you say it's Turkish windows, do you just mean you change language from control panel to be Turkish? Or did you buy a copy of specially Turkish windows? I'm just wondering if we can replicate your environment.

I bought a Turkish Windows, not a simple control panel changing.

Thanks

And I want to add a new detail: On the this page, another Turkish guy talked about installation problem. So, maybe this bug is related with language.

I'm not sure if that's related.
