its because of the copy paste... the original file has no spaces...

i'm confused. this is a different localconfig.xml from the one you copy-n-pasted earlier:

first one you had: C:\Users\root\...", but this one: "C:\Users\Murat"

also, in the second one, you don't have "zdeskt op" (see that extra space?) in localconfig.xml anymore

yes you're right... i have made a mistake and tried to delete the first message.. but was not sucessful... the attached zip file is the right one.. i have checked it again and there is no extra space.. i am very sorry for the inconvenience...

I am afraid that you may have to wait for ZD 1.0.1, which is coming out soon. I think we fixed something related to the problem found in your zdesktop.log.

oops.. bad news... if there is nothing else to do... do u know the release date?

no fixed release date yet.

meanwhile, you may try to completely uninstall ZD and reinstall under a different folder, like C:\Zimbra, something like that. Please don't install under C:\Program Files - that's is a known bug for Vista.

If you have existing data you want to keep, make sure to backup index, derby and store folders before uninstall.

if you have trouble uninstall it, try to follow this instruction:

I have reinstalled under c:\zimbra but the problem remains.. i think its because of the turkish version of Vista... what else could it be?...

i was very excited as i have discovered this software today... but seems like that i have to have patience untill the ZD 1.01 comes out...

can you upload installation.log, zdesktop.log and zdesktop.out again? i just want to make sure you are not running into any new problems.
