Hey thanks. I'll try that.
And yeah, since you asked. !nk$linger is my username. I got online a little late in the game to be "the" "Inkslinger" at nearly any forum anywhere. So I had to choose a username that I still wanted and yet, be unique. Rather than chase down username after username I decided that a more creative way was available. An upside down i and an s with a strike seemed like a good idea at the time. I've since moved on to the one that is displayed here. I would just use JdgM3nt4l everywhere, except I am fortunate enough to have multiple computers each with a need for a unique username.
Back on point. So are you saying that I need to install from a more generic location? I.e. put the executable in the c:\ folder and install from there? Or do I need to go ahead and create a new user?
Also can anyone give me a simple (Believe me, I need simple) breakdown as to why the special characters are not acceptable. I really am just as curious as I can be about that.
Thanks again. From what I've seen so far this really is a good community. Browsing the forums it is clear that friendly technical advice is just a mouse click away. Keep up the good work.
